Welcome to Smith Valley Ranch, located in Beautiful East Texas just 25 minutes north of Tyler. Sheilla and I were blessed to have purchased this ranch in 2005. After a lot of research we decided to start our Registered Black Angus herd. Not only do we like the breed but the folks we have met have been extremely nice and very helpful. A special thanks goes out to my brother, Pine Meadows Farm and Riverbend Ranch for all of their ongoing support and friendship. |
Developing our herd has taken a lot of time and effort and we have enjoyed every moment. I believe our research and patience has paid off. Our cattle are AI bred to some of the top Angus Bulls in the country. When picking a bull, we like a balance of good EPD numbers and a bull that takes a Great picture.
A wise man once told me “to be successful in the cattle business, you better know the market place and where you want to fit in.” We have listened, observed and studied and believe our cattle will add value to both commercial and registered herds. Sheilla and I look forward to meeting you.
